Math:
This week in math the students will build and decompose a kilogram to reason about the size and weight of 1 kilogram, 100 grams, 10 grams and 1 gram. They will develop estimation strategies by reasoning about the weight in kilograms of familiar objects to establish benchmark measures. The students will solve one-step word problems involving metric weights within 100 and estimate to reason about solutions. The students will decompose a liter to reason about the size of 1 liter, 100 milliliters, 10 milliliters, and 1 milliliter.

Continue to practice multiplication facts 2-10
Practice solving 2-step word problems involving the four operations (multiplication, division, addition, and subtraction).
Solve elapsed time word problems and practice telling time on a number line.
Add and subtract within 1000.
